Xtreme Builders is a family-owned and operated residential contracting company located in East Central Alabama. Our family has been in the building industry for five generations, with Phillip Gallahar representing the 4th generation and Tyler Gallahar representing the 5th. We are not a pop-up company. We are here to stay, and so should your home.

Our Story

A Building Legacy Passed Down Through the Generations

The Gallahar family’s building roots go back through generations of carpentry, craftsmanship, and residential construction. JW Gallahar, a 3rd generation carpenter, started Gallahar Construction over four decades ago. In 2001, he retired and passed the business on to his sons. The name was later changed to Xtreme Builders in 2004.

Today, Phillip Gallahar continues that legacy as a 4th generation builder, taking pride in quality workmanship, honest communication, and customer satisfaction. Tyler Gallahar now carries that same family trade forward as the 5th generation, continuing the work of building homes, serving families, and strengthening the future of the company.

Not a Pop-Up Company

Xtreme Builders was not created overnight and will not disappear tomorrow. Our family has spent generations learning the trade, serving homeowners, and building a name that means something in East Central Alabama.
